OK so it isn't that unusual to see vivi lizards basking on trees, unlike adders whizzing up them, but any excuse to put up a piccy.

 

Essex this afternoon, nice conditions, total of 12 adult + 7 Sub adult +2 Juveniles

Rob, I've seen them on stems of water plants before but not out in the open water, perhaps we should run a competition for the oddest picture of a vivi lizard basking??
